Le Boudoir

"I never thought I could love so many images of myself"

A woman is a work of art.

The Boudoir Experience

This boudoir photoshoot experience was designed specifically for you. Anything you're worried about, we've already got it covered. Anything you've been dreaming up for your session, we can make it happen.

Every session begins with a creative collaboration so you and I are on the same page before your session begins. I send each of my clients an extensive preparation guide to walk you through the months & weeks leading up to our time together. I also have you share your ideas, concerns & vision with me via a questionnaire and a mood board, both of which will guide the creative direction of your session.

You have the option of adding on professional hair and makeup to your session if you desire. Every artist I work with is well versed in all skintones & hair textures to create a look that enhances your natural features, rather than overshadows them. The end result is soft & glowy skin, accentuated eyes & cheekbones & typically loose waves in the hair.

Your session is 90 minutes long, which is enough time for a minimum of three looks. Throughout the entirety of the session, I will be giving you extensive guidance on both your posing & your facial expression. You won't have to know how to position your body, or what to do with your hands, I've got you 100%. I have a pocket full of tricks to make it all look much more natural than it feels.

From start to finish your experience is full service and tailor made.

You are, amongst so many things, a muse, an artist, a poem. You are unique. Your legacy is your own and if you don't tell your story, then who will?

Beneath beneath all the texture of the life you've built, there is a woman who belongs
to herself; she exists in multitudes, she dwells in duality and glows with
confidence, beauty & pleasure.

For years, boudoir photography has long informed what it means to be sexy, to be desired, to be feminine. Largely regarded as a gift to the male gaze; boudoir photography has been historically hyper-focused on one detail of a woman: her sex appeal. It's time to flip that script. Be sexy as hell if you want to be, but do it for yourself. Because it makes YOU feel empowered. Because you love your body enough to honor her and because you are ready to come home to HER.

You are alive in this wild and beautiful world. It's time to be celebrated for your unfolding & the stories of your ever-growing legacy.

A boudoir session is an intention to see yourself with a loving gaze and the sweet surprise of seeing the highest version of yourself staring right back at you.

Your session fee includes pre-shoot planning and styling assistance, prep guidance, a 90 minutes of shooting & professional editing.

All the images from your gallery will be presented for viewing in an online gallery 6-8 weeks after your session date Albums and print products are available for purchase

Why do you shoot film?

Film provides a tangible artistry to an intangible moment. It's ability to capture gorgeous skin tones and stunning light is unparallel. I could go on forver about my love for film. Ultimately, it allows me to be present in each moment, right alongside you.  I will often shoot on a variety of film cameras and digital at each session, seamlessly integrating the best tool for that moment.

How would you describe your style?

I approach each portrait session  from a perspective of forever. I am a deep sentimentalist and this translates into my work as an incredible eye for detail and emotion. I love documenting the raw beauty of YOU while infusing an editorial quality to your images. I am drawn to nuance, tone, texture and evoking true art in each image.

i'm nervous about posing!

I understand how new this can all feel and I am there to not only make beautiful art with you but leave you with a new found confidence stepping back out into the world.

My work is focused on creating exquisite art and using the finest methods and quality products. Turnaround times for engagement and portrait sessions average 4 to 5 weeks. Turnaround times for wedding images is 8 weeks.

Do you work with a second shooter?

It really depend on the details of your day! Much of my best work has come from shooting solo. That said, there are times when a skillful second shooter will help your day run much smoother. I always bring someone in, if I feel it will benefit your day.
